  1. How far in advance can I book?

    You can book up to three months in advance.

  2. How soon can I expect a reply from the salon after submitting a booking request?

    The salon will reply to your request within 16 hours. If a request is submitted for a same day booking, you should hear back within 2 business hours.

  3. What if I do not receive a reply to my booking request from the salon?

    Although, salons are committed to getting back to you as soon as possible, unforeseen circumstances may prevent that from time to time. If you do not hear back within 24 hours, we encourage you to cancel the original booking request and submit another. There are many wonderful salons in the ArtistOnGo network that look forward to hosting you!

  4. Is there a minimum time requirement for bookings?

    The minimum booking requirement is one hour in most salons.

  5. What is the ArtistOnGo cancellation policy?

    The policy is as follows: 48 hours or more in advance = FULL Refund 24-48 hours in advance = 75% Refund 12-24 hours in advance = 50% Refund Less than 12 hours in advance = No refund will be processed. This does not apply to the 10 Hour Salon Saver and Monthly Salon Pass.

    10 Hour Salon Saver and Monthly Salon Pass are non refundable.

  6. How will I receive my refund?

    The refund will be credited to the initial method of payment as per cancellation policy.

  7. What if I am running behind and need to extend my time while at the salon?

    ArtistonGo makes it easy for you to add time if you are running behind. You will receive alerts during your booking that allow you to extend your time in 30 or 60 minute increments. Payment will be processed upon extension.

  8. Are Keratin/texturizing services allowed?

    This varies as per the salon policy, and is stated on the listing page of each space. We suggest you message the salon in advance to let them know your specific requirements to be sure.

  9. How are my payments handled?

    You can select and save your card details to your account profile and payments will be completed automatically through your payment method of choice.

  10. What is the ArtistOnGo service fee and when does it get charged?

    ArtistOnGo charges a transaction fee of 2.89% at the time of booking to cover payment processing charges.

  11. How do I process payments for my clients?

    The client payments will be handled by you directly using your method of choice. ArtistOnGo does not handle any payments between stylist and client.

  12. What are the standard inclusions in the hourly / daily rate?

    All inclusions are specified in the salon listing. Should you have additional requirements, you can message the salon to check if they are able to fulfill your requests.

  13. When is the payment completed?

    Your payment will be charged upon confirmation of booking from salon.

  14. How long I can book - 1 hour, 1 day, 5 days?

    You can book a salon for as little as 1 hour, for a full day, or for multiple hours/days by creating a recurring booking.

  15. What is a recurring booking?

    If you regularly see clients in a particular area, and would like to repeatedly see them at one of our ArtistOnGo partner salons, you can make a weekly or monthly recurring booking. This will guarantee your space at that location and save you the hassle of going through the booking process each time.

  16. How can I check availability of salon operating hours?

    When you select a date for your booking request, only salons that are open on that day will populate. From there, you can select the space you like best and find their hours of operation.

  17. Should I bring my own color product if I have a color service scheduled with one of my clients?

    Yes, the salon will provide back bar shampoos and conditioners, but you should bring any color and styling products you require to complete the service.

  18. Can I book a chair directly with the salon owner?

    We have built ArtistOnGo with the aim of facilitating a safe and easy exchange between artists and salon owners. As part of the terms and conditions accepted when joining our community, booking off platform will result in a removal of access to ArtistOnGo booking, events and education. Let us handle what would otherwise be a tedious booking and payment process, so you can focus on your creativity and clients!

  19. How can I modify or cancel my booking?

    You can cancel or make changes to your booking by going to the Bookings section in your dashboard. Please be sure to refer to our cancellation policy beforehand to avoid fees.

  20. Can I use the salon’s tools?

    Most salons do offer this as an amenity, and it will be visible on the listing page if so. If you do not see it as an offering, you can message the salon to check if they are able to fulfill your requests.

  21. Is Back bar included?

    Backbar shampoos and conditioners are included in all bookings.

  22. What if my client is running late?

    Salons will offer a grace period of 10 minutes for special circumstances, as they understand these do arise. If you need more time, a text alert will allow you to quickly and easily extend in 30 minute intervals.

  23. Can I make a same day booking?

    Yes! Although we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to guarantee availability, you can request a space the same day you need it. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive notification that your booking has been accepted, but salon owners will reply as quickly as possible for same day requests.

  24. Can I book more than one chair at a time?

    Yes, you can request more than one chair by choosing the quantity required at the time of booking from the drop down menu. Rates published are for one chair and will adjust based on your selection.

  25. Can I partially cancel a recurring booking?

    At this time you will have to cancel the entire recurring booking and make a fresh booking with your new dates.
